Hello. Congrats on the engagement! Unfortunately, weddings are sooooo expensive. The best suggestion is to keep the wedding small and simple in order to save money. Take care and God Bless!

Hello. I know most states offer subsidies for apartment living. Check with your local services and ask nearby apartment complexes if they have any government subsidized apartments. Take care and God Bless!

Hello. Not sure if I completely understand - are you saying that your insurance company is going to charge you $140 to cancel your insurance? If so, that stinks and I would double check your policy. Search the net for insure the poor. There are a handful of sites that should be able to help. Take care and God Bless!

You have a good point. I have been helping people over the years and have encountered some very interesting situations. The first lesson - never judge a book by it's cover. You never know what somebody is going through unless you have been there and even then, you will never truly know how they perceive the situation. The second lesson - perception is reality. If someone perceives they are in pain, they are in pain regardless of what others think. Take care and God Bless!

Good luck on the schooling! Hang in there:). I recall the days of taking a double load and working part-time on the weekends - good/tough times looking back:). Good to hear your ex is paying child support as well. Stinks to hear your father kept a ledger - wow:). Are you receive student financial aid? I suspect you may also qualify for pell grants. Take care and God Bless!

About getfreedental

in response to wanttosmileLAW...   Hello. As if being a single mother is not tough enough:). I knew Medicaid would provide extractions, but I also thought they would provide one set of dentures? Nonetheless, the best bet is to shop around for dentures. Check nearby clinics and dental schools. In addition, consider working a deal with any nearby dentist in exchange for office cleanings, etc. Take care and God Bless!

Bad teeth and no money to fix them

in response to Level...   Hello. Unfortunately, the US culture paints a false image of ideal. The only good smile is a healthy smile. Orthodontists all over the US have made obscene amounts of money because of people chasing the picture perfect smile which was develop many decades ago in Hollywood. Nonetheless, as we age, our bodies will change. Accepting the change is core to fulfillment:).

in response to Sambrook...   I am sorry for your loss. Hang in there. Not sure if you currently have a job or any source of revenue. If so, not sure if you have established a basic budget plan of any sort. Many times a budget is a good start in the right direction. A budget will help show where your money is going, etc. Take care and God Bless.

in response to westerngirl...   Hello. Unfortunately, I have been down this path as well:). Fortunately, the solution is relatively painless. Contact your local police and report the identity theft. They will file a report which you will give to your credit card bank. The bank will validate the report and remove all invalid charges, etc. You may also ask the bank if they offer any type of fraud protection on your account. For example, if X amount of charges are place in a certain amount of time, they should automatically notify you or temporarily suspend your card. Take care and God Bless!

I need free dental work

in response to faith50...   Hello. Hang in there - you can do it. Do not let your mouth bring you down. The good news is that you have insurance, but I know most insurance providers will cap the yearly coverage at something relatively minimal. If the coverage cap is $1500, you will be responsible for 100% of everything over $3000. I have a few thoughts. First, since you have insurance, you are a step ahead of the game. Dental offices are like small businesses and will compete against each other for business. In short, shop around:). Once you know what is needed, call a bunch of local dentists and ask for estimates. You might be surprised to find differences. Second, consider splitting needed services over multiple years to take full advantage of your coverage. Let the dentist know you would like to split services into multiple sessions. Third, consider bartering services. Dental offices need all the basic services of any small business and might be willing to barter services. For example, perhaps you could help with their marketing, office cleaning, phone reminders, etc. in exchange for dental work. One last thought is to try nearby dental clinics and dental schools. Clinics and schools offer discounted services. Hope this helps. Take care and God Bless!
